Swiss Deluxe Hotels Reduces Environmental Footprint and Costs with Diversey Care Consulting Sustainability Audits
Amsterdam, the Netherlands –3 July, 2014 –Sealed Air’s Diversey Care business today announced that its consulting division has performed sustainability audits for several properties within Swiss Deluxe Hotels, an association of 39 five-star luxury hotels in Switzerland.

Diversey Care Consulting specialists audited the energy and water consumption, food safety, and cleaning and hygiene practices at the Dolder Grand Hotel in Zurich as part of its work with Swiss Deluxe Hotels. Key figures such as the number of rooms booked compared to the annual consumption of oil, gas, electricity, water and turnover of the food and beverages, among other criteria, was analysed.
As a result of Diversey Care Consulting’s work, the Dolder Grand Hotel will achieve annual savings of more than $22,000 (£15,000). These savings will result from reducing energy consumption by approximately 45,000 kWh, water consumption by approximately 220,000 litres and chemical consumption by approximately 2,300 Kilograms.
